本剧为朝日台2018年制作的阿加莎•克里斯蒂推理系列两夜特别剧中的第二夜，第1夜是《命案目睹记：卧铺特急杀人事件》。 本剧改编自1962年作品《破镜谋杀案》（The Mirror Crack’d），主演泽村一树饰演其在2017年阿婆的另一部名著改编《无人生还》中出演的新角色——警视厅搜査一课特别技査系警部相国寺龙也。因为敏锐的观察力，独特的空气感和非常有特点的讲话方式而给观众留下了强烈印象，此次的相国寺警部化身首个男版马普尔，继续在《破镜谋杀案》中大展演技。 故事讲述在一位著名女演员开的豪华派对中出现杀人事件，在大家怀疑目标是否是该女演员的时候，却出现第二及第三宗谋杀案，古怪而敏锐的天才警部相国寺龙也（泽村一树）就到事件发生的孤岛大宅，向各有性格的怪人进行调查，但充满障碍。女演员受到了什么人的恐吓，而围绕在她身边的可疑人物又怎样阻碍着调查，相国寺龙也...。Akerman's Toute une nuit is a collection of vignettes depicting the fancies and dramatic moments of a number of people throughout one summer night.
