石鼓山是崞县（即今原平市）地面上的一大名胜，也是三晋大地上的一处风景奇葩。昔日的崞阳镇（即古崞县县城）东南20余公里处还有一座名山叫作五峰山，也是当地一处名胜。古人将天涯石鼓山与五峰山匹配媲美，时有“天涯是为天涯，五峰好比地角”。It’s summer and a group of young women head off for a week to a house in the country in order to rehearse a play.
