故事内的世界大约与现实中的1930到40年代相当。当时飞机刚发明不久，主要在战争中使用，一般旅行大多乘坐火车。故事中的世界只有一个大陆存在，而这个大陆被中央的路妥尼河及中央山脉分隔成东西两部份。大陆东侧为洛克希昂努联邦（简称洛克榭，官方语言为洛克榭语）及西侧贝佐·伊尔拓亚联合王国（简称斯贝伊尔，官方语言为贝佐语）。两方对于「哪一边才是人类的起源」这个问题争执不下，最后诉诸于战争。虽然现在是休战状态，但仍然常有武装冲突。最近一次是世界曆3277年时发生的列司托奇岛（一座路妥尼河上的小岛）纷争。洛克榭的姓名命名方式为，姓氏在名字后面；而在斯贝伊尔则是姓氏位于名字之前。。Thallumaala revolves around a series of fights in the life of a young man named Wazim, Among these fights, the one that ends up topping the list is the massive fight that breaks out on his wedding day, which transforms Wazim into Manavalan Wazim, the internet sensation he is today.
