根据真实人物“十香园”的主人，晚清职业画家居廉为人物原型，以现代情景室内喜剧的方式进行改编，展示了一位热爱生活的平民画家独特风采，承载了160年前广州人文风情的生活文化图景。。Set in 1989, Jake (Harmon), an out-of-work photojournalist who struggles with addiction and a troubled past, takes a job as watchman of a wilderness lodge on a remote island in the Pacific Northwest, alongside veteran handyman Sparky (Granger). Jake sets up a darkroom to develop the photos he shoots, which begin to reveal disturbing premonitions of their future.。
