In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power. Eva Näripe。少林寺乃江湖武术宗师所在地，清朝政府欲统一天下，视少林为大患，设法去铲除它。 清政府藉天地会首脑陈近南藏身少林寺，趁机派大量官兵及高手消灭少林，寺内僧人四散，少林寺毁于火海。至善禅师自焚之前，嘱咐俗家弟子洪熙官及方世玉一定要重建少林寺。 洪、方二人访寻昔日同门胡惠乾，欲暗杀少林叛徒高进忠以报仇，惜事败，世玉被白眉所伤，幸获两广总督曾必正之女曾玉媛所救。方、媛并暗订终生。 乾隆微服南巡，偶然下遇见玉媛，被其美貌所吸引，决定封媛为贵妃，但此时玉媛已怀有方之骨肉，媛父恐招惹灭门之祸，狠心杀女并嫁祸方世玉。 方世玉知悉玉媛身亡，屡次行刺乾隆，不遂，终被杀。 另一方面，胡惠乾为复兴少林，舍恬静生活前往报仇，失手逃亡。其妻王婉冰于危难中诞下麟儿，取名文定，幸得洪熙官照顾，胡一家团聚。 高进忠看上婉冰，故意折磨惠乾，胁迫冰下嫁。洞房之夜，婉冰趁进忠宿醉未醒欲杀之，...。在西滨国中有个不可思议的传说，就是每三年一定会出现一个“小夜子”，而小夜子必须完成三项任务，否则全校师生将会遭遇不幸。 小夜子的任务包括：在开学典礼的早上，将红花放在玄关布告栏下；在文化祭演出名为“小夜子”的戏剧；在毕业典礼当天，偷偷把钥匙传给下一位小夜子。 小夜子不可泄漏自己的身份，若能顺利完成任务，门扉将在大家面前敞开，否则后果不堪设想。 但是今年，却出现了两个小夜子。 潮田玲因为非常想成为“小夜子”，便自作主张代替真正的小夜子，准备悄悄完成这些任务。就在此时，有一位神秘的转学生沙世子出现在小玲面前，故事随即展开。。
