故事发生在20世纪30年代初期的山东胶东山区。影片反映了一对青年新婚夫妇的生活命运。丈夫于振海为革命抛家离舍、出生入死；妻子桃子坚贞不屈，为丈夫遭受磨难。影片通过于振海等人物的形象表现出胶东农民在党的领导下觉醒和参加战斗的情况。。A young woman (Rosemary Wilcox) is haunted by pop-Freudian dreams of her recently murdered psychologist (and lover), so for some reason she goes to a resort where the psychologist liked to hang out and becomes involved with a gangster (Adolf Celli) and the strange female resort owner (Alida Valli). Soon more murders occur involving the other guests at the resort.。
