At first I had a hard time getting into the story, because the first part of the movie is a jumble of images-- and...。主要讲述了名扬中外的藏刀第五代传人多吉的故事。多吉不仅以打造宝刀闻名，还肩负着保护山区野生动物的重任。由于年事已高，他希望将藏刀技艺传给儿子扎旺，但扎旺因考上大学而不愿继续这一传统行业。父子因此产生矛盾，最终导致扎旺离家出走，多吉被捕杀野生动物团伙重伤身亡。扎旺在经历了一系列波折后，最终回到家乡开设了藏刀加工厂，继续守护这片净土。。故事发生在民国年间一个叫黑石岭的地方，频发的战乱使得百姓民不聊生，各路怪力乱神频现，一直流传着“招黑石岭山神附身”可堪吉凶的说法。主人公刘三木历经各种磨难，在重重谜雾中不畏凶险，抽丝剥茧终于揭开了一切事情的真相，将光明带到黑石岭……。
