Comedy about the proverbial genie who comes out of a bottle (a table lamp in this instance) to serve his new master. The only problem is that instead of helping his master, the genie (Burl Ives) tends to get his master (Tony Randall) into more predicaments than he gets him out of.。九岁的地球孩子「满满」，一天晚上在自己的衣柜里发现了来自多萌星系的外星小红人「萌奇」，得知宇宙飞船损毁严重，需要很长时间进行修复，充满正义感以及好奇心的满满于是决定将萌奇留在家中。为了表示感谢，萌奇决定用自己发明的「魔法心愿机」来帮助满满实现各种愿望，但是......由于魔法心愿机的不稳定性和满满自身的小缺点，实现的愿望往往事与愿违，笑料不断。。
