《749局》是导演陆川在749局的工作经历中汲取灵感，以历史上真实存在的“749局”为原型，讲述一个发生在2030年的“近未来”故事。当整个城市面临着灭顶之灾时，少年和同局战友们历经重重险阻，拯救了城市，也完成了自己的成长。。Roscoe and Buster operate a combination garage and fire station. In the first half they destroy a car left for them to clean. In the second half they go off on a false alarm and return to find their own building on fire.。
