芬克（瑞斯·丹尼尔·汤普森 Reece Daniel Thompson 饰）想加入校报成就自己的记者梦，但是同学都在拿他高二时的糗事开涮，还好校报编辑克拉拉给了他一个证明自己的机会——写一篇关于学生会主席保罗的专稿。为此，芬克忍受着同学的嘲讽与校长（布鲁斯·威利斯 Br uce Willis 饰）的点名，投入调查之中。期间，保罗的女友弗朗切斯卡（米查·巴顿 Mischa Barton 饰）曾经请他帮忙寻找失踪的SAT试卷。结果，芬克发现偷试卷者正是保罗，他也因这篇稿件一鸣惊人，不但克拉拉要给他西北大学的推荐信，弗朗切斯卡也来主动示好，两人于是开始正式交往。幸福来得措手不及，这让芬克难以招架，正当他享受热恋之时，却有事实表明——保罗是被冤枉的。当芬克发现自己成了幕后黑手的帮凶时，真正的威胁才刚刚开始……。The Lego Star Wars animated sequel is a continuation of the story that began in 2024 with Rebuild the Galaxy.
