湖北恩施咸丰，一个从广州打拼回乡的男人打算带领当地人通过拍摄网络大电影进行票房分红的方式发财致富，本地热衷投资的人们纷纷参与进来，采取集资的形式一起努力追逐着一场电影梦，发财梦……。韩国女孩知恩（夏希罗 饰）的父母都是开明的知识分子，因此家庭中的民主气氛浓厚，也就造就了知恩与生俱来的民主精神。大发（崔民秀 饰）出身于典型的专制型韩国家庭，在家里无论对错晚辈总是得听长辈的。偏偏这么一对凑在了一起，知恩与大发相爱了，并很快结了婚。这下，这两个完全不一样的家庭碰在了一起，家里简直成专制与民主精神斗争的战场，因而也笑料百出。 日子一天天过去了，两家人都慢慢起着变化。在知恩的倡导下，大发家开始慢慢变得民主，而知恩家却……。The story revolves around a G8 meeting, held at a luxury hotel on the German coast, where the world’s most powerful economists are gathered to enact important provisions that will deeply influence the world economy.
