本片是首部以城中村为背景，讲述蚁族在奋斗的过程中，经历了亲情、爱情、友情，并最终伴着梦想成长的故事。片中讲述的沙井村，和国内的众多城中村一样，是蚁族的乐土。即将大学毕业的王林肯与女朋友陈小丹就是这里的租客，他们的房东安震南（老安）有一个傻孙子——总统（安红）。本片讲述的就是，王林肯和小丹，还有王林肯的好哥们李晨曦（外号冠希），包括后来搬来老安家，王林肯曾经的暗恋者林笑颜，这样一群租住在城中村的大学生，以及同屋租住的其他租客，在帮助房东老安照顾傻孙子“总统”的过程中，发生的嬉笑皆非却又温情感动的故事……故事中有大学生对未来的迷茫与思考，有栖居城中村“西漂”族的无奈与彷徨，但在经历并真正懂得爱情、友情、亲情之后，每个人的心灵都得到了成长。这不仅仅是一部讲述大学生或城中村爱情的电影，这是一个关于梦想与成长的故事。。20 years after her husband's death, a woman keeps more than just his memory alive.
